We're going to talk about ways to help you as a personal trainer acquire more clients. Let's face it, as personal trainers we all want to do that. We're going to teach you a specific topic that's going to help you elevate your game to the next level. What's that topic called: Prospecting! Now, if you heard of it, that's great. But from my experience, a lot of trainers either have never heard of it, or don't know how to execute it. In today's video we're talking about how to prospect the training floor. Today I'm specifically talking to the trainer who falls into one of two categories. One, you have members out on the training floor, but you don't have a lot of clients, which means you're not making a lot of money.

The technique that you should be using is approaching members where they are. Well since all gym floors are NOT created equal, we have to find out where those members are for you. This could be the group classes. This could be the Cardio floor. This could essentially be right there on the training floor. You see, the issue is, a lot of trainers want more clients. And a lot of potential clients, they actually want to help, but they're scared to ask for it. So, if we have trainers who want more clients, and they're afraid to go where the members are, and then we have potential clients who are afraid to ask for the help, then where do we really end up? With this technique, we want you going out on the training floor, and not only hoping the members, but helping them with the INTENTION on finding a way to provide more help. And once you're able to do that that allows you the opportunity to book another appointment. And this leads you right into your sales process.

Now, we want to focus on training be try to be as the trainer B who doesn't really have a lot of time. Maybe you're in between client. Maybe your own the way from one session to another, or your client is taking a water break. There's a prospecting technique where you are a quick hitter, helping the client or potential client on the training floor solve a problem with form and technique, and you simply walk-away. This allows you the opportunity to have a reason to go back to that member and find out how things went. If you can start that conversation, then you guessed it, this gives you the opportunity to start the conversation in order to book another appointment. If you can do this, I promise you, this will allow you the opportunity to have more prospects in your prospecting funnel. Again, most trainers want more clients, but they're afraid to go get them. And most potential clients want help and they're scared to ask for it. So by applying this technique, we're helping you solve this problem.
